What clean windows you have! Any photos I took through mine would have an interesting set of splodges etc on them. Are they eating you out of house and home? We are filling up our feeders and putting food out for the ground feeders at least twice a day at the moment, poor little things. They sit waiting for us and fly down before we have had time to really move away, skimming our heads:)
You have a better selection of birds in your garden than I have. This winter there has been very few birds, Goldfinches have gone missing, the Siskins are not showing up in great numbers either. I am not sure why, but we do have a male Sparrowhawk who pratrols our gardens and catches birds, mainly Blue tits, nearly every day.
That a shame about the Sparrowhawk Lyn, Siskins are not that reliable, they vary from year to year and location to location. Goldfinches are quite wary and easily put off. The Blue Tits will mix it and try and avoid danger, but they are determined little things.
You have pretty much the same birds as we do except that we don't often get collared doves. Other regulars here are nuthatches and long-tailed tits. I enjoy seeing them all.
A great way to do your birding in the cold weather Roy lol

Love your backyard birds! I always picture you sitting by a warm fire drinking tea and watching birds out the window Roy!
ReplyDeleteIs that a new header photo, Roy? I really like how there are spots of purple, pink, and green on the twigs that little robin is perched on.
