Scenes from my latest Parkland walk earlier this week on a very sunny day.
Green-veined White Butterfly
Lots of people getting out on the water as the weather has now improved out of all recognition from the recent continuous deluge.
Comma Butterfly
A Red Tailed Bumble Bee
A pair of Common blue damselflies
Canada Geese having a picnic by the water's edge.
A female Large Skipper Butterfly
People on boats
People on horses
Green-veined White Butterfly eating on bramble flower.
A female Green-veined White
Its really good to see some Bumble Bees flying about now.
Although very common, I had to shoot this image of a Black-headed Gull because of the unusual light on the water.
Little Tiddlers, Minnows I think.
Let sleeping Ducks float.
Black-tailed Skimmer Dragonfly.
I did see quite a few of these during the walk.
Canoeing on the parkland.

well of course black-headed gulls aren't common around my parts; so glad you included that capture Roy. A restful series watching people and nature just 'enjoying' ...
